Mother nature cooperated this past weekend for the Iowa Games summer festival in Ames. Executive Director Jim Hallihan says the weather did not affect any of the events, with no rain for the first time that he can remember. Hallihan says the competition continues this weekend with a handful of events in Ames, including adult soccer. Hallihan says each year the staff looks at ways to make the event run even smoother but says there were no reports of major problems over the weekend. The diving competition will be held August third at the U-N-I pool.
