A National Weather Service meteorologist has confirmed the storm that hit Creston Thursday was a tornado. Meteorologist Jeff Johnston surveyed the damage this morning. He says he thinks it was a narrow path “F-zero” tornado. Johnston says that’s the lowest strength on the scale that goes up to F-five. Johnston says even the F-zero packs a punch. He says it has winds from 70 to 90 miles an hour. He says they look at the damage and see that it abruptly shuts off, indicating it was a tornado. Some buildings were damaged and trees knocked down, but no one was injured.
