An autopsy is scheduled for today on the body of a 30-year-old Odebolt man who was killed in an apparent hunting accident. Sac County authorities got a 9-1-1 call on Monday afternoon reporting a man had been shot while hunting in a field near Odebolt. Michael Friedrichsen was found inside his pickup truck by other hunters. He was taken to a Sac City hospital and pronounced dead. It’s unclear if he was shot by someone else or if his own weapon went off.
