The Iowa Hawkeyes go through their first practice in Tampa this afternoon in preparation for next week’s Outback Bowl against Florida. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says players will have a curfew but will get plenty of free time. “We’ll let ’em run a bit early, and then kind of cut ’em back as the week goes along,” Ferentz told reporters. “We’ll let ’em be kids a little bit too.” Ferentz says the goal is to create a “game week” atmosphere. The Florida Gators arrive in Tampa later today.
