The student who sent threatening e-mails that caused the early dismissal of classes at the East Union of Afton schools has been identified. The Union County Sheriff’s Department says 12-year-old Matthew Alan Stoll of Afton was referred to juvenile authorities for second-degree harassment. Stoll admitted that he sent an e-mail to two students of the East Union School threatening them with harm if they did not do as instructed in the e-mail. Superintendent Steve Clark says he can’t comment on the disciplinary action to be taken against Stoll due to confidentiality requirements.
