A teenage boy was killed in a car wreck this morning along the outskirts of Denison. Authorities say 16-year-old Jorge Vargas Barraso of Denison pulled out onto Highway 30 shortly before six this morning. His car was struck broadside by a semi driven by a man from Rembrandt. Fifty-one-year-old Lawrence Kacmarynski, the truck driver, was not injured. Vargas Barraso was taken to the hospital in Denison, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
