In Thursday night high school football action fourth rated Cedar Falls will look to remain undefeated as they host Dubuque Wahlert tonight at the UNI-Dome. The Tigers are 6-0 on the season while Wahlert is 4-2. The Golden Eagles have dropped their last two games after opening the season with four straight wins. Wahlert has defeated the Tigers the last two years and Cedar Falls coach Pat Mitchell wants to end that streak tonight, as he says “we owe them a bump on the head.” He says they’ll give them everything they have to try and do that. Mitchell feels ball control will be the key for tonight’s game. He says they’ll hopefully be able to control the ball and keep it away from Dubuque’s offense.Mitchell, who’s in his 38th year at Cedar Falls, could earn his 250th career win with a Tiger victory.
