UNI women’s basketball coach Tony DiCecco wants to avoid the roller coaster ride the Panthers took last season. UNI is 3-1 after suffering its first loss of the season at Wyoming on Sunday and tonight’s game at home against Wisconsin-Milwaukee is an opportunity to end a losing skid before it begins. He says they want to control things better than they did last year when they’d win a few then lose a few and couldn’t put things together. DiCecco says inconsistent play last season prevented his team from reaching its potential. He says they want to scrap and fight and get skids stopped immediately so they don’t do what they did last year. The Panthers will be looking to avenge a 27-point loss to Milwaukee last season.
