The Harrison County Sheriff’s office is trying to determine how a bicyclist was killed last night along an area nature trail. The Sheriff’s Department says the male bicyclist was struck while traveling northbound on the Loess Hills trail about one-mile south of Missouri Valley. The investigation found the bicyclist was struck by a northbound car. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man’s identity has not been released. No charges have been filed.
