The UNI softball team continues the toughest portion of its schedule by opening a three-game Missouri Valley Conference at home against nationally ranked Creighton. The Panthers are 10-10 overall and opened the Valley race by dropping all three games in a series against nationally ranked Southern Illinois. UNI coach Christy Hebert says a young but talented pitching staff will be tested. She says Hebert says the entire pitching staff will need to contribute as they don’t have one dominate pitcher.Creighton is 24-4 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
