A central Iowa woman was killed in a car crash in Des Moines early Sunday, in a wreck police say was likely weather-related. Des Moines police were called to the city’s southeast corner about 4 A.M. Sunday. Witnesses say a car slid off the road and through a fence at the Autorama R-V dealership. The car hit at least four R-Vs and flipped onto its side, coming to rest inside an empty camper and killing the car’s only occupant. The driver’s identified as 29-year-old Brandy Ross of Altoona. Reports say she was headed home from work at the Des Moines Register’s production building. Police say the roads were slick and it appears Ross lost control on a patch of black ice.
