Class 3A 2nd ranked Sioux City Heelan is coming off of three wins over cross town rivals Sioux City East, North, and West and begins District 2 play tonight against 8th ranked and unbeaten LeMars.

Maintaining a balanced offensive attack is a priority for Heelan Crusader Head coach Roger Jansen. He says they try to get as many people involved in the offense as they can to try and make the defense cover the whole field.

The LeMars Bulldogs are 3-0 after beating Sgt Bluff Luton 55-20 last Friday night. Head coach Gabe Tardive continues to see improvement from junior quarterback Levi TeBrink. He says TeBrink is a good leader on the field and has improved each week and will need to continue this week.

Heelan leads the overall series 7-1. Kickoff Friday night is at 7:30 at Memorial Field in Sioux City.
