Nevada-missingPolice are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing central Iowa boy. Twelve-year-old Sebastian Akers of Nevada was last spotted at a convenience store in Boone at one o’clock Wednesday morning, after he was reporting missing by his parents.

Nevada police do not believe Akers was kidnapped. The boy is believed to be traveling with 18-year-old Zachary Hollenbeck and the pair may be heading west toward Colorado.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nevada Police at 515-382-4593. Sebastian Akers was wearing a gray shirt with a yellow “Heavy Hitter” logo on the front, jeans and black DC shoes, according Nevada Police. He is 5-foot-7, 160 pounds and has brownish/blonde hair. Zachary Hollenbeck is 5-foot-11, 155 pounds and has a shaved head. He was last seen wearing purple shorts and a yellow T-shirt.
