Forecasters down playing big storm

Forecasters say the winter storm hitting Iowa today won’tbe as strong as previously thought. But parts of Iowa are still havingtrouble with freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Northern Iowa drivers aredealing with slick roads as the storm passes through. The forecast for six inches of snow has been downgraded…but some snowis still expected. A winter weather advisory for northern Iowa is postedfor today…and central and northeast Iowa are under a winter storm watchthrough tomorrow morning.
