Iowa professor working new snow plan

) A University of Iowa professor is working on the nextgeneration of snowplows. Civil and Enviornmental Engineering ProfessorWilfred Nixon studies ice. He’s working with the Department ofTransportation to develop plows and blades which require less work from theuser. He says the key is to find the best combination of materials andcutting edges.
