Iowans who bought one of their diet products. The Attorney General’s office says over 100 Iowans may have purchased a product called “Lipo Slim Briefs.” Iowa’s Attorney General says a New York company is offering refunds to The company claims the special underwear can get rid of cellulite anddissolve fat from your hips, stomach, buttocks and thighs while you wear them. The Attorney General says the claims made by the company are questionable. The company has agreed to pay back the 20 to 30 dollars paid for each pair of lipo slim briefs. The company has also agreed to pay 12-thousand dollars to the state consumer education fund and is prohibited from making weight loss claims without scientific studies to back them up.
