Iowa opens Big Ten baseball season

The Iowa baseball team opens the Big Ten race this afternoon with the firstof a four-game series at home with Michigan. The Hawks have been playingwell as of late and coach Scott Broghamer says the non-conference schedulehas prepared them for the Big Ten race.Broghamer says while the victory over Miami of Florida will in no way maketheir season, beating a national power serves as a confidence boost.Broghamer says Michigan has a lot of talent.
