ISU study to look at fate of runaways

Iowa State University researchers will launch a three-year study on runawaysthis summer. Sociologists Les Whitbeck says they want to find out whathappens when teen runaways grow up.Whitbeck says runaways are often forgotten after they become adults and thestudy should help shed some light on the issue.The study is being funded by a three million dollar grant from the NationalInstitute on Mental Health.
