Missouri names new coach

The University of Missouri today named Duke assistant Quin Snyder to replace the retired Norm Stewart as the school’s mens head basketball coach.Missouri Chancellor Richard Wallace.The 32-year-old Snyder, a former Duke point guard, had been an assistantunder Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski for the last four years. Hesays he’s not worried about not having any head coaching experience.Snyder replaces Stewart who came to Missouri 32 years ago after coaching atthe University of Northern Iowa.
