The Iowa baseball team opens a four-game Big Ten homestand this afternoonwith a single game against Minnesota. The Hawks are 3-5 in the Big Ten butcoach Scott Broghamer says they gained some momentum by winning the finaltwo games at Michigan State last week.Broghamer says the pitching stepped up last weekend.Broghamer says it helps the pitchers when they get some run support.The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
