Hardin county bust breaks up meth business

A three month investigation in Hardin county has led to the breakup of amethamphetamine operation. The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force busted a methamphetamine operation in thenorthern Hardin County town of Ackley. They arrested a resident of the housethey searched, another Ackley man, and two men from San Bernadino,California. The search turned up three pounds of methamphetamine with astreet value of over 140-thousand dollars, 26-thousand in cash, and twoadditional pounds of crank. The men are charged with possession with intentto deliver and a drug tax stamp violation. All are being held in the HardinCounty Jail.
