Lieutenant Governor tours flood damage

Lieutenant Governor Sally Pederson toured Independence today, where floodsstruck some areas last night. Pederson also visited Manchester flood victims this morning. Pederson says people are over-whelmed by the damage that’s been done by themud and debris which the floodwaters pushed into their neighborhoods.Pederson says people are still optimistic and pitching in to rebuild.Officials estimate damage to homes, businesses, crops and other structureslike roads at over 100-million dollars.
