Clear Lake looks to clean up its image

Officials are hoping a new campaign brings people back to the waters ofClear Lake. Kirk Kraft is the mayor of Clear Lake says several efforts areunderway to rid the lake of bacteria problems. He says a public relationsfirm has come up with the slogan “Cool Classic, Clear Lake.”Kraft says millions of dollars have already been spent on improving thewater quality.The problems forced the closing of some of the beaches along the lake lastsummer.
