Bush opens office in Iowa

The George W. Bush Exploratory Committee office in Iowa officially openedtoday — eight days before the Texas Governor makes his first campaign tripto the state. Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson served as the main draw for the gatheringat the Bush campaign office. Thompson brought along about 35 Wisconsinites.Thompson said Bush has a record of success as Texas Governor, includinggiving Texans nearly three-Billion dollar worth of tax cuts.Thompson said Bush was the right kind of leader.Bob Brownell, the mayor of the Des Moines suburb of Clive, said Bush getshis support because of his integrity.George W. Bush is scheduled to appear on Saturday, June 12th in CedarRapids, Amana and Des Moines.
