Drake basketball hopes successful tour carries over

The Drake basketball team returned from a trip to the Carribean with a 6-1record. Bulldog coach Kurt Kanaskie says it was a good experience for theplayers and there was some good competition as well.Kanaskie says the games and the ten days of practice prior to the trip willbe beneficial for next season in which the Bulldogs will try to improve onlast season’s 10-17 record.Kanaskie says while the incoming players could not take part in the trip, thereturning players will see the benefits.
