Map mistake shows prison as a recreation spot

The one-point-seven million newly-printed Iowa road maps contain an error.The Fort Dodge Correctional Facility, that’s a prison, folks, is listed onthe map as the Fort Dodge Recreational Facility. Warden John Thalacker sayshe’s NOT angry with the Iowa Department of Transportation over the error.Thalacker says there is some recreation at his prison facility:The printing of the maps cost more than 192-thousand dollars. D-O-Tofficials say the error will be corrected on next year’s map.
