Ted Williams cancels visit to Iowa

A baseball legend has cancelled an appearance at the “Field of Dreams” inDyersville next month. A doctor has ordered Ted Williams to skip the Shoeless Joe Jackson NationalBaseball Tournament in Dyersville over the Fourth of July weekend. Thedoctor says the 80-year old Williams needs to stay home and rest. Williamshas been a strong advocate for re-instating “Shoeless Joe” Jackson tobaseball to make him eligible for the Hall of Fame.
