ISU player charged in assault

An Iowa State University football player is charged following a fight inAmes last night.The Iowa State University Department of Public Safety has charged 20-year oldDamian Groce with serious assault. Groce alledgedly assaulted another manlast night at a university dorm. Groce was an all Big Twelve receiver lastyear who led the team in every receiving category. He is a junior collegetransfer who will be a senior this season.
