ISU hockey club could lose national title

The Iowa State University Hockey Club team may have to give up its nationalchampionship. The American Collegiate Hockey Association is investigatingwhether Senior forward Darcy Anderson played professionally before joiningthe Cyclones. I-S-U coach Al Murdoch says Anderson did try out for aprofessional team in 1995, but Anderson did not accept any money.Murdoch says the investigation is moving forward.The A-C-H-A guidelines say if the Cyclones are found guilty, they could beput on probation and stripped of their title. I-S-U defeated Penn State inMarch for the title.
