Bugs fly in exhibit

When most people think of “insects,” images of creepy-crawly bugs may come tomind — but not usually pictures of beauty. A facility in eastern Iowa aimsto change that perception. The Iowa City Area Science Center is hosting anexhibit of 40 species of butterflies — with dozens of them flying loose.Jay Ansher (an’-shur) is spokesman for the center. He says the exhibit alsofeatures flowers and plants that attract butterflies inside a large screenedstructure. Ansher says some people are a little scared of insects beforethey enter the habitat for the colored winged creatures.Ancher says the butterflies & moths come in a rainbow of colors.The exhibit will be open through September 15th.
