Harkin remembers JFK JR

As the ashes of John F-Kennedy Junior were scattered in the Atlantic Oceanduring this morning’s ceremony, Iowa Senator Tom Harkin says he’s always-quote- “had a soft spot in my heart” for the son of the slain president.Harkin says the Kennedys have done much for America, despite the sadness.The Iowa democrat has served with the victim’s uncle, Massachusetts SenatorTed Kennedy, for about a decade & a half. Harkin says he didn’t know J-F-KJunior very well, but had met him on several occasions.J-F-K Junior was killed along with his wife and sister-in-law when the planehe was piloting crashed last weekend off the Massachusetts coast.
