Group says Iowa could benefit from decrease in global warming

The director of a national campaign to curb global warming says Iowa couldbenefit from a change in its energy policies. Adam Markham is the directorof the World Wildlife Fund’s “climate change campaign.”Markham says the state would need to replace the inefficient motors,vehicles and energy sources that lead to increased global warming.He says agriculture could really suffer if global warming isn’t abated.Markham says his organization’s studies shows many states could benefit byadopting more environmentally friendly policies.
