Iowa coach works with a thin line

New offensive line coach Joe Philbin hopes to boost the Iowa Hawkeyes’ groundgame this season. The Hawkeyes finished last in the Big Ten in rushing ayear ago averaging just 81-yards per game. With two sophomores and aredshirt freshman listed as starters in the pre-season, Philbin says it willtake a lot of work to get the offensive line ready to go.The offensive line lacks some depth and Philbin says staying healthy willenhance their progress.Philbin joined the Iowa staff after serving as the offensive coordinator atHarvard and says being part of a new staff is exciting.Philbin says they will get a good idea on the progress they have made withthe opener against Nebraska.
