A northern Iowa environmental awareness group has reached a milestone thathas only been attained by one other chapter in the nation. The group hasinvested more than a million dollars on habitats. Dennis Lovick, past president of Iowa Pheasants Forever, who is now with theWinnebago/Hancock County chapter, says the organization is very efficient inits handling and distribution of funds.Lovick says 94 percent of all dollars raised go back into the two-countyarea to preserve habitats for pheasants and other wildlife populations.
