An Iowa Reform Party leader sits on the panel which will help nominate thefledgling party’s presidential candidate. Ronn Young of Marshalltown ischairman of the Iowa Reform Party.Young is one of five people on the National Reform Party’s nominationcommittee, the group which will review the applications from individuals whowant to be the party’s presidential nominee. Young says next summer, all Reform party members will be able to vote fortheir presidential picks on ballots which will be tabulated by an accountingfirm and announced at the party’s national convention in August.Some potential Reform party presidential candidates mentioned includeMinnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, republican presidential candidate PatBuchanan and movie star Warren Beatty.
