The eighth annual Insect Horror Film Festival creeps into Iowa StateUniversity tonight. Joel Coats, I-S-U professor of Entomology, says thefestival puts bugs in a whole new light.The celebration features bug grafitti, the movie, “A Bug’s Life,” and aninsect petting zoo. The bug expert says getting close to bugs can be fun.If you’re feeling open-minded and hungry, Iowa State’s Entomology club ismixing up mealworms in caramel apple crunch, popcorn, and custard. Coatssays the food always goes first.The festival runs from six to ten in the I-S-U Memorial Union’s SouthBallroom.
