Drake hits the west coast

The Drake Bulldogs close out Pioneer League action this weekend when theyvisit the University of San Diego. The Bulldogs are coming off a 53-6 win atButler, a victory coach Rob Ash termed impressive after his team had itstitle hopes dashed the week before.Ash says San Diego is always tough to beat at home.Drake has won five of their first six meetings and Ash says it has alwayscome down to Drake’s power and San Diego’s speed.Ash says teams always enjoy traveling to different parts of the country toplay.Drake is 5-3 overall.
