Cyclones hope to end losing skid

The Iowa State Cyclones look to keep their dwindling bowl hopes alive this weekend when they host Oklahoma. The Cyclones are 4-5 after a loss at Texas Tech and coach Dan McCarney expects an emotional effort in their home finale as 16 seniors play in their last home game.McCarney says while the O-U defense has been up and down, when it is good it is dominating.McCarney is looking forward to matching up against Stoops as both have strong ties to their days at the University of Iowa.Oklahoma is 5-3 and coach Bobby Stoops says like last week’s opponent Missouri, Iowa State does a good job of running the ball but in a different fashion. He says you have to adjust to the Cyclones Darren Davis.The Sooners have been inconsistent this season and Stoops says the defense has been the primary reason.
