Grassley will vote for minimum wage increase

When the U-S Senate votes today on a plan to raise the minimum wage, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley expects FEW of his republican colleagues will join him to support the dollar-an-hour hike. Grassley says he is voting for the compromise that phases the increase in over three years.Grassley says the legislation also contains a variety of tax law changes that aim to help small businesses.Congress raised the minimum wage to five-dollars 15-cents-an-hour about three years ago.
