November 10, 1999 By admin

Autopsy results are expected today in the mysterious deaths of a mother and son in the Dubuque area. The bodies of 20-year-old Miranda Galin and her 11-month-old boy, Jason, were found Monday in Galin’s apartment in Asbury. Dubuque County Sheriff Leo Kennedy says the deaths are suspicious but could not say if the victims were murdered, died accidentally or due to a medical condition.Sheriff Kennedy says there were no visible wounds on the bodies and no signs of struggle in the apartment. Galin was a single mother, originally from southwest Wisconsin in the Monfort area. Authorities are trying to locate the boy’s father.
