Drake and ISU men meet on the hardwood

The college basketball season shifts into high gear tonight with the 159th meeting between Iowa State and Drake in the Knapp Center. The Cyclones are 1-0 after a victory over Simon Fraser and while coach Larry Eustachy likes the potential of his team he says they will find out where they are at tonight.Eustachy says the in-state games always provide plenty of excitement.Eustachy says the first road game of every season is a difficult assignment.Drake coach Kurt Kanaskie says overall he was pleased with his team in two exhibition games but says the rebounding aspect of their game has to improve by tonight.Kanaskie says any team with Marcus Fizer causes matchup problems.Kanaskie says how his team handles the situation will have a lot to say about their chances.
