Osceola boat won’t open on projected date

The owner of the new riverboat casino in Osceola says the scheduled December 15th opening will be delayed. Larry Seckington is the lawyer for boat owner William Grace. Seckington says construction delays will keep them from meeting the opening date.Seckington says they don’t know when the boat will be ready to cruise West Lake, but he’s hoping it will be sometime after Christmas.Dry conditions this fall also caused problems for the boat as the lake level was too low. Seckington says recent rains have fixed that problem.Seckington says it will take five to seven days to test the new slot machines once the construction of the boat is completed.
