Drake jumped out to a 17-point halftime lead and cruised to a 75-63 victory over pre-season favorite Bradley in their Missouri Valley Conference opener. Matt Woodley led four Bulldogs in double figures with 17-points and junior foward Joey Gaw had a big game off the bench finishing with 15-points and 13-rebounds.Drake held Bradley to just 32-percent shooting the opening half and for the game outrebounded the Braves 40-29.Bradley scored the first 11-points of the second half and evetually closed to within four before Drake put the game away down the stretch.Drake is now 5-2 and will host Mississippi Valley State on Thursday night.
