UNI drops close ballgame

Texas-Pan American outscored Northern Iowa 10-4 in the final two minutes of the game to down the Panthers 74-68 Wednesday night in college basketball action. U-N-I committed 20-turnovers in the game and coach Sam Weaver says that was a big factor.Weaver says the Panthers also hurt themselves at the free throw line. They shot only 68-percent.Weaver says the Panthers did not make the plays it takes to win on the road.
