Bulldogs hit the road

The Drake Bulldogs are on the road tonight in the Valley to take on Southern Illinois. Southern is 10-8 on the season and while they have been inconsistent Bulldog coach Kurt Kanaskie says they have been oustanding at times. Kanaskie says a strength of Southern is their depth.The Bulldogs have dropped their last 31 conference road games but have come close to snapping that string in their last three away from home. With the next three games at home, Kanaskie says this would be a big one to get.Drake is 9-7 overall.
