Today’s the deadline for getting your “W-2s” from your employer. The “W-2” is required for filing your income taxes.Renee Mulvey of the Iowa Department of Revenue and Finance says businesses are required by law to provide the forms to their workers. If you haven’t received your W-2, Mulvey has some advice. She says make sure there isn’t something on your end, like a change of address, that is keeping the form from getting to you.Mulvey also cautions taxpayers to print their Social Security numbers on their Iowa income tax forms. The mailing label used to carry the i-d number, but this year, you must print the Social Security number on the form yourself.
