Drake looks to put brakes on skid

The Drake Bulldogs look to snap a three-game losing streak tonight when they host Creighton in Missouri Valley Conference play. Creighton won the first matchup by four in Omaha and Bulldog coach Kurt Kanaskie says to have a chance this time the Bulldogs will need a big defensive effort.Kanaskie says another key will be handling Creighton’s press.Point guard Lamont Evans played sparingly in a loss to Indiana State. The wrist above his shooting hand was heavily taped after he suffered a broken bone last week. Kanaskie says it is a situation Evans will have to battle the remainder of the season.
