Arrest made in Cedar Rapids hit and run accident

A Cedar Rapids man is charged in connection with a high-speed chase along Interstate 380.19-year-old Matthew Baty faces car theft charges after being a passenger in the stolen car that eluded police last Friday. A Cedar Rapids police officer was hurt after wrecking his squad car during the chase. Police Lieutenant Kenneth Washburn says more arrests are pending.The injured officer, Sergeant Tom Jonker is in fair condition.
