Fizer is Big Twelve player of the week

February 14, 2000 By admin

Iowa State forward Marcus Fizer has been named the Big-12 player of the week. Fizer averaged 25 and a half points and ten and a half rebounds last week as the Cyclones posted victories over Missouri and Nebraska. Cyclone coach Larry Eustachy says the success of the team this season has served to energize Fizer’s game. Eustachy says Fizer’s impact goes beyond points and rebounds.
