Governor says he’d support insurance coverage for contraceptives

Governor Tom Vilsack supports a move to require insurance companies topay for contraceptives on policies which have prescription drug coverage. Vilsack says if insurance companies will pay for the impotency drug viagra, it seems reasonable that they should cover the other aspect. The Senate Commerce Committee has approved the insurance change, but it mustbe approved by the full Senate, as well as the House, before it would becomelaw in Iowa.
